Plot: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a Disney fantasy adventure comedy movie directed by Jon Turteltaub, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice introduces Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) as a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan. The man has only one mission on mind and i.e. to protect the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). As it’s not very easy task and he needs someone to support him, Balthazar Blake recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his apprentice.

Then the movie follows both of them as they work against the forces of darkness after the sorcerer gives his apprentice a crash course in the art and science of magic. Becoming The Sorcerer’s Apprentice will change the way Dave Stutler has been leading till day.

Balthazar Blake leaves his workshop in the hands of his apprentice, who gets into trouble when the broomstick he’s tasked to do his chores for him somehow develops a mind of its own. Monica Bellucci and Alfred Molina etc play the important characters on the movie.
