Hello unmesh,
Sorry for the late reply,
Well after going through your query what i would suggest is that you quit CS coz its not possible to study the whole theoretical subjects of CS with your full time job and coming marriage responsibilities and that you must have understood after giving 2 attempts for 2nd group of executive level.
As m replying you late and another query of yours that you posted suggests that you have enrolled yourself for dec 2011 attempt i would suggest you to give it and in case you do not get through than better quit CS and look for expansion in your field itself.
Last but not the least, i can only suggest but the decision is yours,so go through all the aspects and than decide.

Hello aaksh,
In my point of view not pursuing graduation shouldn't be a hurdle in your CS career, but also if we look it from the aspect that at certain point of time we want to step ahead and for that with CS we generally suggest LLB as a good option so that you can expand your area of expertise and work both, and for doing LLB you have two options either 5 years llb directly after your 12th or 3 years after your graduation.
Well i shared with you my knowledge and opinion in this regard,at the end choice is always yours.
Hope i could help you out a bit.

Kratika Goel
Hello Devanshi,
Well as you are registered to give exams this Dec i.e.Dec 2011 and in case give both the groups of executive level than in that case you will have to complete your computer training before Dec and in case you are giving just one group in dec than you can do your computer training after dec and before june in which you would probably give exams for second module. For books and references plz see the study tips section of this site it would help you out.
As for your next ques. regarding scanner is concerned you can practice from that but can not completely rely on its ques to get through exams when i gave my exams i did referred scanner practiced from that but throughly prepared through study mat. and notes,so what i tell you is my personal experience.
Hope i could help you.

hey Kiruthika,
Hope lyf's good at your end,
Well as far as studying on your own is concerned i don't see any big problems in that, but i would like to add here that second module contains a lot of technical meaningful words which are necessary to understand, because it is easy to learn them and get paased in exams but it would become difficult or you can say
unfeasible in practical application if you do not know their actual meaning,so what i mean to say here is that while preparing by yourself do take care in knowing exact meaning of each term for better future application.

Hi,
I am a BTECH degree holder and a software engineer with 4 years of work experience. My age is 26yrs.
I want to enroll for the CS-Executive programme.
Will i get the exemption from 16 months training after i pass my Executive programme?
I will have close to 5 years of experience by the time i pass my executive programme.
Also, i want to know the next due date for the enrollment of CS program.
Regards,
Samir Kumar
hey sneha,
Well technically i don't think there should be any problem in your appearance for dec 2010 exams, just make sure you send your ET to the institute in case you are not taking your coaching from any regional chapter, you can send them even after giving your exams that just should be in records as i know.
So my advice to you is chill out prepare for your exams and don't worry about the ET's.
ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR EXAMS……..! 🙂

Kratika
hello sir,
i wanted to appear my foundation exam in december 2010 but havent completed the poastal coaching.if this coaching is not completed within 31st august will i be permitted to appear the exam this year..??
Hey jyoti hi there,
well below is the list of last dates for registration to CS course, have a look at it.
http://kratika.wordpressmu-855765-2955010.cloudwaysapps.com/faq/more-information/59…
You said that you will get your final passed mark sheet in September,in that case i would like to inform you ,that you can register for executive in the month of sep. i don't exactly remember the date by which you should register so kindly collect that information from your nearest regional chapter, moreover you will be registered for both the groups of executive programme but will be eligible to give exams for only one group i.e. the first one coz you will be registering late i.e after 31 august. In case you want to give both groups of executive together than you should register for the course next year.

hey shafeeq
So you don't wanna study science any further that's what you said in your comment, but you didn't mentioned if you are actually interested in doing CS,that means you are confused, all you know is that you do not wanna continue with science stream that's it.
Well in that case what i suggest to you is that, take a break and look through various courses as per your interest such as if you wanna do computer course or CS or hotel management or any vocational course or anything else their are plenty of them I can't mention every course over here, something that you actually wanna do and make it your carrier.
So get your head clear and do let me know about what you decided than,But decide a course which actually interests you and do not opt anything forcefully otherwise you wont be able to give your 100% to it,thats what i think.
good luck and sorry if this is a late reply to your query.
still do let me know what you have decided to pursue,in case you already decided and like to share with us.
for any further query keep posting.
-regards
kratika 🙂
@ sikander
hey there sorry for the late reply
well sikander if you are so sure of your theory concept and basis than CS course won't be a much typical job for you do.As far as your job is concerned whether to leave it or not depends on your study pattern that you can balance both the things at a time or not that's what you have to decide and see acc. to your situation.
I suggest you to opt for the course and see how well it goes with your job and/or your business. As far as your qualification is concerned you are qualified if you are 12th passed student.
Good Luck and do let me know what you decided. For any further queries keep posting your comments.

plz help me out for quires.
waiting for your reply thanks.
@ rishika
hey there sorry for the late reply as i have been busy with my own personal stuff so cudn't give time to my website.
So Dear,
As for ur first question whether B-com Or B.A.??
my suggestion is B-com coz u find gr8 similarity between CS subjects and B-com subjects that helps you to carry along both the things in more flexible way than doing C.S. with B.A.
Next you specified that you are more willing to enter Art stream for that i would like to tell you, that CS is not at all associated with it its a sheer study of law so think well before opting for the course considering your own interests.
next you wanna know about whether CS with LLB or CS with HR?
For this i would like to tell you that both options are good but if you ask for my suggestion I'll say CS with LLB coz CS being study of law,LLB adds to your qualification as an enhancement that most companies give preference to while giving u a job.
hope this answer satisfies you
-regards
kratika 🙂
@ anas
hi there! well dear u can absolutely pursue CS course with your bcom.
this a real good point that you have been from commerce stream thts going to help u catch up easily with CS subjects.
For when you should apply and for a detailed procedure go through this website you will get it all you need to know about starting procedure.
Hope you can understand that its not possible for me to answer repetitive ques to each n every person individually.
Still if after going through my website you find any query unanswered post it n definitely u'll receive a reply.
Hope my answer was satisfactory to you 🙂

what amount of stipend can a company secretary student get after completing executive programme
sir,i completed my +2 in science.but i dont like to study science subjects further.i like to study commrce subjects.i have 60% total in plus two.can you please give me good cources related to the comment
hello,
I have completed my diploma in computer science. due to certain very important reason, i was away from my studies from last 3 years. i was into the job. but since past few months i am bit serious to start my studies again. i have chosen the course of C.S. this is because my theory and script is good. for this course i am also ready to leave my job. though this not hampering me since i have small scale business too.
so, what do you suggest me to?? my accounts part is also good, since i also have my I.COM background too.
what is your opinion????
Frm.
Sikander
hi.i have completed my engineering in I.T. and now i want to go for CS.can i go for CS
Hi!!
I have given my 12th boards(commerce)exam in the month of march and am awaiting my results. I am planning to persue CS. My query is that what is best suited with CS. Is it B.Com or B.A? I am a little more keen on entering the Arts stream. Which among these would be better option with CS? If I opt for B.A, which combination would be a better one with CS? Would it be CS with HR or CS with LLB?
Awaiting your early response.
I want to know if i could do B.Com and C.S. together.
if yes then when should i apply for C.S.
please tell me its detail procedure.
I have given the 12th Board exam from commerce stream.
Hey! Durga,
nice to hear from you again.
you are always welcome to seek answers to your queries. 🙂
well durga you can not attend exams in June 2010,as this is a compulsion as per the institute policy that there should be a 9 months gap between registration and examination.your first attempt would be in December 2010 at the earliest.
As for books go by study material thoroughly.for tax you can refer -girish ahuja for C.A & C.S.
Ur B-com books can be used for studying cost and company acc.s.
-regards,
kratika 🙂
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I have applied for registration in February 2010 for executive program. Can I attend Exams in June 2010. Is it difficult to attend in June 2010 exams or I can attend only some subjects. What books I have to refer.
Regards,
Durga
there are no sample papers available for CS course only last year ques. papers can be referred do you have scanner of executive prog?
I
am doing Cs(exe) June 2010 attempt find difficulty of examination sample paper Please me contact Or Email address For sample Paper
heya durga!
well as for your first question, yes you can directly join CS executive course after completing your graduation.
for your second ques. i would say that its not a really easy course but its also not that difficult too ,which you can not cover up by preparing well.
how many hours u study depends on your grasping skills, but if you want exact then at least 2-3 hours a day acc. to me.
its not really neccesary to do any legal course after doing CS but that surly adds as an advantage if you want to go for job coz legal course plus CS course would likely lead you to be the first preference of employer.
Well its not true that there is no future for CS course without legal degree, you have a lot of earning opportunities even without doing any legal course as in you can earn while you do your 15 months training and also be at the post of assistant company secretary when you have qualified for the course.
Its true that a fresher having CS plus legal degree have better options for him/her then a fresher only with CS completion certificate, but that doesn't mean there is no option left for that person there are lot of opportunities to grab at,
being a mother of a child it must be difficult for u to go for a job and manage your home together with CS done you can start your own practice and work from home that is a lot more better option than doing nothing, you can also have the option to join any CS firm and work with them online.
I think if you are really thinking to join some work this is a real feasible option for you.
I hope my ans. was able to satisfy your query.
for any further query keep writing.
thanks reader
-regards
kratika 🙂
Sir,
I have done my B.com through correspondance course. I am married person and I have one child also. Can I join for CS executive programme directly. Is it very difficult course. How many hours I have to spend for study. Is it necessary to do legal course after completing CS course. I have heard that without legal couse there is no future for CS course. Is it right. Can you please explain.
Thanks.
Durga
hey ankit,
look i will give you a real fair advise here, you are a science student from gujarati medium and done your B.A. right. As you yourself said that would C.S. course will be difficult for you?,the answer is yes
you are from gujarati medium as obvious you will face language difficulty problem plus you never had any commerce base so you may find difficulty with the accounts subject.
Fine in case you will able to manage accounts with any tuition help but, with other subjects that are purely theory i have a doubt that will you be able to grasp the language in case you do, than will you be able to execute it properly coz execution is most important.
looking at your study background i would suggest you to go for the job offered to you rather doing C.S.
but if you are so willing to pursue C.S. course and you think you can grasp things easily than go for it coz i don't know your actual capability what i am suggesting is from the info you provided to me.
So the decision is all yours if you are really bright student and can accomplish your task with focus go for it.
hope you find some help here
tc

kratika 🙂
hey shweta,
yes you can definitely give exams in dec 2010 attempt. All you have to do is to fill in your examination form in time alright
cya,
tc
n keep writing for any further queries.
-regards
kratika 🙂
heya TNG,
sorry for the late reply,
Well as your first query says that what would be the career prospects for you in my opinion,on that i would like to say there that study of LLB is a good blend with company secretary course as you must be knowing that company secretary is the one to handle the legal matters of the company he/she is working with.
you said you are a criminal lawyer by work, that means practicing law makes you more perfect in dealing with legal matters, its true that company secretary course is more of corporate and civil law base but you must have gone through subjects related to them when you studied for LLB.
moreover your experience counts whenever you feel like practicing C.S.So in my opinion its a nice option for you to choose coz this would give you a professional course degree too as you have not done your post graduation.
Next you said that starting days of any course are difficult its true but with a knowledge n experience you have you might not face such difficulties.
next you said if its too late to enroll than i would like to tell you here that people even at the age of 40 are pursuing this course as i have seen a live example of this.
Further you said about 16 months training as far as my knowledge is concerned you can claim exemption there as you are working since 5 years in the field of legal practices, for exact guidance over this go through regulation 48,51,52 of company secretaries regulation ACT 1982 OR communicate with the institute.
Remuneration depends on what kind of company you work with and your work expertise according to there demand. As far as your age is concerned that absolutely wont be a disadvantage on the contrary your experience will help you go through a long way.
and for your last query yes the stipend is provided during training period although you need not go through it.
And still in case you don't feel like pursuing C.S. course you can go for LLM thats surely adds to your legal expertise.
i hope i was able to clear up your queries, for any further queries keep writing.
gud day
tc

Kratika 🙂
sir,
i am in great confution that i am agujarati medium and science student and i am graduated in B.A. now i am getting job in indian army as a technical asst. but i want to do company secratary course. is it possible for me? am i completed this course easily? pls give me a suggest. as soon as possible.
Hi,
My name is shweta. I Want to ask one question about executive programme exam. I was filled my form for registeration in Nov. 09, & also received Registeration letter from ICSI institute. But I could not able to attempt exam. in June 2010, and therefore I wish to attempt exam. in dec. 2010.
It is possible or not.
I hope You understand.
What, in your opinion, would be the career prospects as a Company Secretary for a 30 year old person who has completed his LLB (after his B.Com)and has been practicing law for the last five years on the criminal side.
I am given to understand that like in every profession the initial years are the toughest. (Low remuneration/ overworked etc)So too must be for Asst./junior Company Secretaries.
Do you think it is advisable for someone or is it too late to enroll for and complete the Intermediate followed by Final examination. Not to forget the mandatory Management/Apprenticeship Training of 16 months.
What kind of remuneration can be reasonably expected initially. With many completing their CS by the age of 21-25 do you think this person (who would be 33 by the time he completes his CS) be at a disadvantage because of his age in terms of growth prospects in terms of age/ remuneration etc? Also, do Companies offer a stipend during the apprenticeship?
I hope I have been able to make my queries clear.
your welcome 🙂
thanx a lot dear…:-)
hey angha,hru???
well u need nt to be in any kind of dilemma if u have so much confidence in your self.
As far as the difficulty level is concerned yes the exams will not be going to be that easy in year 2010.
To deal with a particular subject and make assumptions regarding the difficulty level of exams u can take help of scanner.
Here are some study tips frm my side to help you with your exams:
for GCL do constitution tht is the first chapter of study,IPC,IRPC,transfer of property i dont rember exactly but there are two new chapters introduced in new syllabus do them and 2nd chapter i dont remember its name these are the most imp one acc. to me, but you never knw wht changes they make in new ques paper so do all the chapters thoroughly from the study itself you wont need another book to refer for GCL.
For company and cost accounting you can refer any commerce graduation books, thats wht i did, if you prefer you can use more complicated book as you wish coz as far as i have experienced this subject is to provide basic knowledge of accounts to cs students and it consist of 40 marks compulsory theory this can be a bit difficult to you coz u have not learned accounting basics in case u had this wud have been an easy subject for u.
for tax go for study its all abt grasping theory but do the practical portion too in case you can't predict these exams but concentrate on theory more u can refer girish ahuja
well i think i wrote a long letter answering ur ques hope ur satisfied with wht i wrote in case u need any more clarification or u have any more queries related to the course do submit further comments.
GOOD DAY N BE HAPPY 🙂

hey ssr,
nice ques,:-)
yes you can pursue CS course coz there is no restriction regarding what stream you are coming from. But yes you'll find some trouble in preparing for accounts subject but that also won't bother u much coz the accounts syllabus is just basic, what CS consist is brodly LAW based.
& your second ques that how you are on demand as compared to accounts student well in that case you are on equal demand for any CS job after completing all the stages of CS course. After that it depends how you perform in your interview session.
HOPE THE ANS WAS SATISFACTORY FOR U.:-)
hiii…i hav just completed by B.Tech in biotechnology…i juz wanna know if i can pursue my CS…an how am i on demand in d market as compared to a candidate from accounts stream
your welcome:-)
Thanx a lot!!!
okk alright,
well if you get registered with the institute by march 2010 then you can appear for december 2010 exams.
gud day n take care.
Do leave more comments at any time 🙂
I dont have any problem in appearing for foundation exam, but i feel to pursue it after my graduation can be too late for me.If i apply for it next year i shall appear exam in december.please let me know if i can do it or not.
Well aadya in that case i would like to suggest you to pursue CS course after your graduation is completed with that you have two benefits first you will not have to pass the foundation stage as that can be skiped and with three years of learning you will have a better grasp on Commerce subjects.
Thank you kratika,i am doing my graduation(BCOM-accounting honors)
hey aadya,
yes you can very well opt for cs course next year bcuz theres no restriction regarding with what stream you have passed your 12th exams its just that you should have cleard your 12th.
By the way may i knw wht course you have opted for with that i can guide you further with your study criteria.
I passed my class 12th board examination with 68% in science stream. Now i shifted to the commerce stream.I want to know if i can aaply for cs exams nxt year?
