Long ago LinkedIn discontinued offering the Outlook Toolbar to focus on a new tool, LinkedIn Outlook Connector. This tool is built using the Microsoft Outlook Social Connector platform.

LinkedIn Outlook Connector requirements:
- Outlook 2010, 2007 or 2003.
- Outlook 2010 beta users should review additional Microsoft requirements.
A 64 bit version of LinkedIn Outlook Connector is also available for download.
I have downloaded and installed the LinkedIn Outlook Social Network Connector on a Windows 7 x64 bit Outlook 2010 system. The installation was successful with no errors in my Outlook 2010.
The standard 32 bit version of the connector (which is a couple of DLLs) can not be used with 64 bit Outlook.
